Let’s start with the CEO/Founder, Marlinda

Hey! My name is Marlinda, the founder/CEO of My Horsez. My responsibilities are very broad, such as setting plans and goals, coming up with updates, programming, marketing matters, management tasks, administration, and more. At the moment I don’t have a horse in real life anymore, although I did in the past. My favourite thing to do is going on long rides through nature, though unfortunately I don’t get much chance to do that right now. Maybe again in the future!

At home I have two incredibly sweet Siberian cats who are always up for cuddles. I also enjoy walking in the woods, drawing, painting, photography from time to time, and outings such as travelling, going to concerts, or having lunch with friends for a catch-up, etc. Fun fact: I’m allergic to horses (meh..). Thankfully not to digital horses!

For MH, my biggest dream is to become the largest and most welcoming horse game community in the world. A lovely place where you simply feel welcome and at home.

To achieve that, our team is working passionately behind the scenes!

But you as a player also make an important contribution to that, so thank you very much!

Operations Employee and Designer, Levade

Hi everyone! I’m Ashley (known on My Horsez as Levade), 32 years old, and I work as an operations employee and designer for My Horsez. I’ve been playing the game for half my life, and since 2014 I’ve been active as a designer. In 2022 I also started working as an operations employee.

As a designer, I focus on creating new content for the game. Think of new items, barn buddies, and even breeds. In my role as operations employee, I handle a variety of behind-the-scenes tasks, which combine really nicely with my design work. For example, I make sure new items are added to the game, but I also prepare a new museum exhibition for you to enjoy every month, so it’s very varied work!

In my free time, I’m mostly busy with my family. I’m happily married to my husband Nick, and together we have two children: a daughter and a son. We also have three lovely French Bulldogs called Yuna, Arlow, and Charlie, who definitely keep things lively!

I also enjoy being creative, I can always appreciate a good book, and I enjoy gaming with my husband every now and then.

I hope you’ve gotten to know me a little better this way. And if you ever have any questions (or just fancy a chat), my PMs are always open.

UX Designer and Digital Artist, Vulpes

Hi! I’m Rianne (known on My Horsez as Vulpes), 27 years old, and I work at My Horsez as a UX designer and digital artist. I first joined the game as a 12-year-old girl, and I’ve stayed ever since because of the lovely community. It truly felt like home to me!

In my free time, I spend a lot of time with my Whippet puppy Dalton. I also have three cats: Myka, Pip, and Luca. I absolutely love reading, watching series, and going for walks in nature, often together with my boyfriend. I basically live the grandma lifestyle at 27 years old haha. But I love it!

As I mentioned, I’m active on My Horsez as a digital artist and UX designer. This means I create artwork for the game together with the other artists. As a UX designer, I focus on the functionality and user-friendliness of the game! For example, I help design how an adventure works, what we’re doing for events this year, how a new update should function, and what it should look like. All of this happens in close collaboration with the rest of the team.

I absolutely love what I do. I’m so happy I can contribute to the game that has always been my safe and happy place on the internet!

Software Engineer, Bogdan

Hi! My name is Bogdan, I’m 27 years old and Romanian, although I mostly grew up in Italy and have now been living in Amsterdam for quite some time. A bit of a mix of different backgrounds, which I actually really enjoy!

Outside of work, I’m usually gaming, cooking, or working in my little garden. Out of those three, cooking is probably my favourite, which undoubtedly comes from growing up in Italy. Making a delicious meal is just incredibly satisfying, especially things like tiramisu.

At My Horsez, I work as a software engineer. What I enjoy most about it is solving problems and building features that people genuinely enjoy using!

Tester, Blueberry

Hi everyone! I’m Marita, known on My Horsez as Blueberry, 27 years old, and I work as a tester for My Horsez. After actively playing MH for many years, I was away for quite a long time. Just over a year ago, I returned in this role!

As a tester, I mainly focus on testing new updates and events, answering bug tickets, and tracking down bugs. I’m also increasingly developing small updates and events myself, which makes the work even more varied! In addition, I carry out operational tasks such as posting banners and topics and maintaining the changelog.

In my free time, I enjoy walking, reading, doing puzzles, and playing role-playing games. I also love cuddling with my 16-year-old cat, Droppy. I hope you’ve gotten to know me a little better this way. See you on MH!

Community Manager, -Kipepeo

My name is Floor, and on My Horsez I’m known as -Kipepeo. I’m 32 years young and Dutch, but I’ve been living in Hungary with my husband for several years now. We’re doing our absolute best to start up a campsite there, though it’s safe to say it’s been quite the adventure, haha.

I also love spending time in nature with my dogs (Fred the Dachshund and Teun the Rhodesian Ridgeback), as the scenery here is absolutely beautiful. I enjoy just being around the house and garden with our ducks, cuddling our cats (Twix, Oakley, and Muis), going out for dinner, and renovating furniture.

Within My Horsez, I work as the community manager, though I originally started as a moderator before becoming head moderator and eventually moving into this role. I really enjoy this position because it allows me to use my strengths in connecting people, keeping an overview, and using my creative mind to develop ideas that help make My Horsez the very best and most enjoyable horse game in the world, can really shine through.

Head Moderator, Demure

Hi hi! I’m Amber, though on MH you know me as Demure. I’m 22 years old and currently studying for a master’s degree in classical piano at the conservatoire. Besides playing the piano myself, I also teach quite a lot of piano lessons. I also spend a lot of time with my 7-year-old Irish Sport Horse mare called Andante. Fun fact: Andante is a musical tempo marking that roughly means “walking pace”. That doesn’t really suit her though, because we still haven’t found the off switch for turbo mode. Luckily, she’s very sweet.

On the international MH server, I’m currently the head moderator, which means I have a leading role within the moderation team. Together with those amazing moderators, I do my best to keep the game enjoyable and continue developing the community further. I’m also active in both official Discord servers as a Discord moderator. I truly enjoy both roles!
