In this part of the “Meet the Team” blog series, we’d like to introduce you to all of our moderators.

We’ve had a lot of changes within the moderation team over the past few months, and we thought this would be the perfect way for you to get to know the people behind the Service Desk.

Halifax, moderator Forum

Hi! My name is Franka, and on My Horsez I am known as Halifax. I am 25 years young and I am from Groningen, The Netherlands. I have been playing My Horsez since 2013. I was a moderator on the Dutch server for a while, but swapped over to the International server as soon as it was created! I am a moderator, meaning I check the forum for faults, answer player questions, and other things that need some help from the team!

I own 2 horses, named Halifax and Ozzy. Halifax is a French Trotter/Standardbred gelding and Ozzy is a Murgese, Halifax is 9 years old and Ozzy is 3 years old. I don’t ride often, but we spend a lot of time doing groundwork, walking and providing them with the most fitting housing/care.  I also have a dog, she is a sighthound cross from Spain named Puck. We adopted her 7 years ago when she was just a puppy.

Apart from the horses I also love running, hiking and working out. I have a Masters degree in Law, with a specialty towards the societal side of healthcare and safety. Now that I have finish my studies, I hope to soon find a job where I can assist people in need!

Raiyn, moderator Forum

Hi, I am Raiyn! I am 32 years old and I am from the netherlands. I live together with my partner, daughter and 2 cats called Lillie and Noa.

I have a lot of other hobbies aside from MH, which include cross-stitching, reading, diamond painting and more, so I often struggle to pick one with everything I want to do while also wanting all to be done perfectly

I started playing MH on the dutch server at the beginning of 2023 but immediatly switched to the international server when it came out. The game and players are amazing and the friends I have made allong the way are important to me. That is why i recently joined the moderation team where I handle most things related to the forum on the forum, to help the game be the amazing and welcoming place for all players from new, returning or old school veterans and everyone in between! I have been enjoying my time as a moderator as the team is really lovely and welcoming.

Hi everyone! My name is Mira, but on MH you know me as Selenophile. I am Dutch and I’m 23 years old. I live with my mother, brother and two cats from the shelter called Chloe and Lilly. I have a degree in Communications and I’m working for a newspaper publisher. My interests are very broad: theatre, anything creative (lately I love junk journaling the most), plants, listening from classical music to heavy metal, of course horses and I also really enjoy reading about and visiting places from the Second World War.

I started on the Dutch server back in 2013 and basically immediately switched over to the international server when it came out. I joined the team as a moderator earlier this year in March. I became a moderator, because I love helping people and to help create that community feeling that I experienced all the way back when I started and still get to experience to this day.

Mysa, moderator Report, User conflict, Question, Forum

Hiya, I am Mysa! I am 24 years old and live in Sweden with my partner. Together, we live in a very small village and after a 2 minute walk you'll find yourself surrounded by forest. At home, we have 5 aquaria with fresh water fish. I especially love betta fish!

On My Horsez, I've been a moderator for over 6 years. I started out on the Dutch server, where I've been a player since 2015, and moved to the international server during the launch. Since then, I've also taken on the job of wiki-writer as well as working on the newsletter. Being a mod has been a great joy and I love that I can do my share in helping out players and providing a fun and safe environment. Next to being a mod, I really enjoy breeding flaxen (liver) chestnut Andalusians and cream/dun Mountain Horse!

Outside of MH, I'm a big nature lover! I often go on hikes, go fishing or enjoy nature photography. Any moose or bird of prey in the newsletter collage, are usually photographed by me! Some other hobbies I enjoy are baking, reading, gaming and embroidery.

Hello! My name is Leilani, and on My Horsez I’m also known as LeilaaSunny. I’m 23 years old and quarter Dutch, quarter Portuguese and half Thai, I know I'm a bit of mix haha. I lived in Portugal for over 15 years before moving back to Thailand two years ago.

I currently live with my parents and our adorable dog, Sunny, while I'm pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration through online studies. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog when we can since it's so hot here. I also enjoy listening to music, going horseback riding, gaming and baking!

I started playing My Horsez in September of 2025 in the International Server when I heard about it and immediately fell in love with it. In early March, I joined the team as a forum mod and I’m truly loving the experience! It’s been a rewarding journey learning new things, especially because I’m surrounded by a kind and supportive team. I decided to become a moderator because I genuinely enjoy helping others, communicating and creating a safe, fun environment for everyone in My Horsez.

Hiya! My name is Emi, and on My Horsez I go by Miris. I'm 28 years old, from the UK, and live there with my husband. Unfortunately no pets at the moment, but we are filling the space with more house plants that two people could possibly need!

I studied Equine Science at university which I loved! Through that I got the opportunity to work in a variety of countries on a variety of yards, but my favourite will always be the studs. Nothing will beat seeing a horse all the way from it's birth through to it's first outing at a competition or race! I did have to take a step back due to personal circumstances and I now work as an IT consultant. I still really enjoy this, just in a different way, and I take every opportunity that I can to spend time around horses. Outside of this, I love birds and bird watching (especially owls), anything creative, music, although I mostly stick to metal or drum n bass, and classic cars which has led to me getting an old ranger rover that I'm currently restoring!

I've been playing MH basically since the launch of the international server where I mainly focus on rose connies and dabble in way more breeds that I should. I've recently joined the team as a forum moderator and loving it so far, although there is a lot to learn. However, the team have been amazing and so welcoming. The forums helped me so much in the early days of the server and without them, I wouldn't have made the friends that I have. I love that as team we are able to give the same to other players no matter where they are in their MH journey!
