Code of Conduct

On this page you will find an overview of the behavioural guidelines and rules we adopt on My Horsez to create a pleasant and safe environment for our members.

General rules

You may only have one (1) account and you must not misuse your account.

Using or creating multiple accounts (multi-accounts) is not allowed. Giving away, receiving, buying, selling, sharing (co-managing one account), or lending accounts is not allowed. Creating a new account to replace the old account is also not allowed, even if you no longer use or have deactivated the old account (you can reactivate your old account if needed). Additionally, each player should play their own game and enjoy the benefits of only one account. Therefore, it is not allowed to use your account mainly or solely to benefit other accounts. Playing/using accounts in this way means that as a player, you ultimately benefit from multiple accounts, which is not the intention. Each player should only enjoy the benefits of one account. If the usage of multiple accounts is discovered, this may result in a permanent ban for all accounts involved.

Your password is private; you must not share it with anyone.

You should never allow anyone else to log in or play on your account. My Horsez staff will never ask for your password. Likewise, you must never ask other players for their password.

Cheating is not allowed, and you must not abuse game errors.

Cheating includes using bots, hacks, cheats, or other (illegal) methods to obtain more coins, make the game easier, or influence it in unintended ways. It is not allowed to impersonate someone with a special role within My Horsez when that is not the case. It is also not acceptable to deceive other members. If you find a game error, you are required to report it to My Horsez management via the ServiceDesk.

Treat fellow players and My Horsez staff with respect.

Do not post racist remarks, insults, threats, defamation (including spreading rumors), etc. This also means you should not publish 'blacklists', 'fines', or similar. Excluding/sidelining specific players is not allowed. Conflicts or bullying can be reported via the ServiceDesk if they occur in the game and your attempts to resolve the issue independently have failed. A moderator will try to assist in resolving the problem. Do not publicly harass other players with issues between you and other players. Do not resolve real-life disputes on My Horsez.

Do not spam other players.

This applies everywhere: in mailboxes, guest books, and on the forum. Spam includes, among other things: advertising messages (unless on the designated forum), begging messages, chain mails, repeatedly posting the same message (or messages with the same meaning), or posting comments that add nothing to a forum topic. Such comments are annoying to other players and do not contribute to the forum.

You are responsible for all content (text, images, etc.) you post in the game.

Therefore, do not use images, texts, or other materials from third parties that are not allowed to be used. There's an explanation about copyright on our forum: Forum > Trade > Creative Sales > The use of images on the Forum.

Do not post content on My Horsez that violates game rules or the law.

Do not post texts or images that could be considered shocking; My Horsez is for all ages.

For example, do not post images of animal abuse or erotic texts. Such matters may also not be discussed if there is a 16+/18+ warning in the title or topic. Additionally, player names, horse names, or ranch names should not contain inappropriate content, such as profanity or names related to violence, drugs, diseases, conditions, sexual orientations, etc.

Be cautious about what you share. Never share full names, address details, phone numbers, email addresses or other contact details with others or ask other players for such details.

Furthermore, we recommend being cautious about the information you share; keep in mind that you never know exactly who reads your (forum) messages and that there are malicious people on the internet. If you see someone else sharing certain information that they should not share, inform that person yourself or contact a moderator if necessary. Together, we ensure that My Horsez is a safe environment for everyone.

Asking for personal details such as full names, phone numbers, address details et cetera, may result in a permanent ban.

Discussing competing platforms is not allowed.

It is not allowed to discuss other online games, even if the online game has a theme other than 'horses'. Discussing PC games (without online connection) or online horse forums is not a problem. If in doubt about whether something can be discussed, you can always open a ticket in the ServiceDesk.

When making agreements with other members, this is at your own risk. Each player is responsible for adhering to the agreements made.

If you suspect someone of fraud, you can report it via the ServiceDesk, so that in case of multiple or serious reports, we can warn or ban this player from the game. Also read our moderation page.

My Horsez may not be used for commercial purposes without prior express written consent from the administrator.

For example, it is not allowed to trade real items on My Horsez or place commercial advertisements. By 'commercial', we mean anything that directly or indirectly earns real money. Buying/selling/(lending) items in the game for real money or goods/services outside the game is also not allowed. This applies to, for example: coins, pluscoins, horses, ranch buildings, items, and accounts.

Forum

Use normal English; ensure everyone can understand you.

Use normal words and punctuation. Occasionally using a phrase in another language is fine, but ensure your text remains understandable to everyone overall and keep the base language English. It is not allowed to swear or speak inappropriately on My Horsez. We want to keep the game pleasant and accessible for everyone, so mind your language.

Make sure everyone feels welcome on the forum.

Therefore, you may not have rules that exclude certain members on something they cannot or find difficult to comply with.

Formulate critical messages in a positive, constructive way and respect it if someone prefers not to receive criticism.

This way we keep the forum pleasant for everyone.

Ensure that the replies you post in a topic are relevant to the topic subject (stay on topic).

You go off-topic when you post replies that are no longer about the topic of the thread. Of course, a topic can sometimes drift off topic, which is OK as long as it is still related to the main subject of the thread. However, strive to steer the discussion back to the original topic of the thread.

Always use a clear title that describes the content of the topic well.

A title is generally in English unless using another language in the title suits the topic and/or is not perceived as disruptive. Some forums have specific title rules, so always read the forum rules of the forum in which you are posting.

It is not allowed to post a topic with the main purpose of redirecting to a platform other than My Horsez.

It is not allowed to open a topic asking for votes/subscribers/'likes'/clicks for a website outside My Horsez. It is also not the intention to create a topic on the forum with the sole purpose of sharing chatbox links/contact information.

Final words

Participating in and reading the game and forum is at your own risk. The moderation team oversees compliance with the community rules and may take action in cases of rule violations or disruptive behaviour. Such actions may include warnings, editing or removing posts, closing topics, temporary restrictions, or other appropriate measures.

Moderation decisions are made based on the information available at the time and may later be reviewed, amended, or withdrawn. No lasting rights can be derived from previous moderation decisions, warnings, or individual moderation arrangements.

Individual arrangements with the moderation team are made only in exceptional circumstances and may be reassessed, amended, or terminated if circumstances change. The moderation team also reserves the right to amend rules, guidelines, and moderation policies whenever this is deemed necessary for the proper functioning of the community.
