The ‘Getting started’ achievement consists of 5 chapters with different achievements. The chapters that are part of this achievement are:

• The tutorial
  
• Learn game mechanics
  
• Committed
  
• Meet the community
  
• Trainer

This achievement is available immediately. The goal of the achievement is for players to become used to different game mechanics. Finishing the chapters will unlock new achievements.

‘The tutorial’ chapter consists of the following achievements:

• Part 1: Choose your new best friend
  
• Part 2: Let's earn some coins!
  
• Part 3: Go shopping in Applemoor
  
• Part 4: Get ready to ride!
  
• Part 5: Your first competition
  
• Part 6: Breed your first foal

Part 1: Choose your new best friend

Choose your new best friend by going to the Valley to pick a free horse. Check out your new horse in your stables afterwards.

Part 2: Let's earn some coins!

Let’s earn some coins by learning about the different ways to make coins. Celeritas shows you three ways to make coins: answer a quizzey, do work (brush a horse, muck out a stable), and do a chore in Applemoor.

Part 3: Go shopping in Applemoor

Go shopping in Applemoor with Venilla. You have to buy a filled grooming box and tack (saddle, bridle, saddle pad) at DreamHorse, 10 portions of feed at the food store, book a trim at the farrier and vaccinate your horse at the vet.

Part 4: Get ready to ride!

Get ready to ride by taking care of your horse. Sapientas asks you to feed and water your horse, groom it, then tack it up.

Part 5: Your first competition

Get ready for your first competition. Miscus asks you to train your horse in dressage and enter your first dressage competition, then explains train points, stars, and why they matter for breeding and competitions.

Part 6: Breed your first foal

Breed your first foal by finding a pair of the same breed. You get a free breeding credit to put the pair in the pasture, after which you wait for the foal to be born. When the foal is born you get an explanation about maxing and you’ll have completed the tutorial.

The reward for finishing this achievement is: 10,000 coins & the title ‘Rising star’.

The ‘Learn game mechanics’ chapter consists of the following achievements:

• Brush a horse's mane to extremely long
  
• Visit all buildings in Applemoor
  
• Feed your horse at least 10 times
  
• Train a horse's fitness to 100%
  
• Fill in the beginner survey
  
• Update your profile text

Brush a horse's mane to extremely long

Brush your horse’s manes until the manes are extremely long. Mane length 4 (extremely long) can be achieved after 72 days of brushing the horse’s mane to 100%.

Visit all buildings in Applemoor

Visit all the stores in Applemoor by visiting Applemoor through the Equada map.

Feed your horse at least 10 times

Feed 10 horses by giving them food in your stables, when your horse(s) are hungry. You can complete this task by feeding 1 horse 10 times, or feeding multiple horses to the amount of 10 times total.

Train a horse's fitness to 100%

Train a horse’s fitness to 100% by using the horse walker. You can build a horse walker, buying it at the Contractor in Ridechapel, or you can rent a horse walker.

Fill in the beginner survey

Fill in the beginner survey to share your feedback about My Horsez.
This achievement will have been completed by default if you are not a new player.

Update your profile text

Update your profile text by going to ‘Userpanel’ -> ‘Edit profile’. On this page, you can also select your title to display on your profile.

The reward for finishing this achievement is: 10,000 coins & the title ‘Know-it-all’.

The ‘Committed’ chapter consists of the following achievements:

• Claim your daily gift 2 times
  
• Claim your daily gift 5 times
  
• Claim your daily gift 10 times

All 3 achievements can be completed by logging into the game and claiming your daily gift. The progress of the achievement will start counting from the moment you start the achievement.

The reward for finishing this achievement is: 2,000 coins & the title ‘Committed’.

The ‘Meet the community’ chapter consists of the following achievements:

• Open a forum topic
  
• Comment on 10 topics
  
• Add 3 topics to your favorites

Open a forum topic

Open a forum topic by going to a forum section and clicking on the button ‘New topic’. Write the desired content for the topic and click on the button ‘Send’ to open the topic.

Comment on 10 topics

Comment on 10 topics on the forum. Go to the forum and click on an interesting topic. At the bottom of the page you can write a comment and click on the button ‘Send’ to post your comment.

Add 3 topics to your favorites

Add 3 topics to your list of favorite topics. You can favorite a topic by going to a topic on the forum and clicking the ‘star’ button at the top of the topic.

The reward for finishing this achievement is: 2,000 coins & the title ‘Forum star’.

The ‘Trainer’ chapter consists of the following achievements:

• Train one horse to 2 dressage stars
  
• Train one horse to 2 jumping stars
  
• Participate in 5 competitions
